Fraxel Restore is a non-invasive laser resurfacing treatment that can treat a wide variety of skin conditions and imperfections. The Fraxel Restore laser uses a 1550 nm wavelength to deliver pulsed, fractional laser energy for gradual skin resurfacing in separate (usually 3-5) treatments. Fractional technology means that only a section of the skin is treated with each procedure; the small laser columns penetrate the dermis moderately, affecting about 25 percent of the skin surface each time. This technology can be used to rejuvenate skin on the entire face, around the eyes, hands, neck, chest, and elsewhere.
