BOTOX® Cosmetic
You've heard the news by now: BOTOX® Cosmetic is an amazingly simple, effective way to dramatically reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles, leading to a revitalized, younger aesthetic. With this revolutionary injectable product, small facial imperfections can be eliminated. BOTOX® Cosmetic is a purified chemical made from natural proteins, and can be injected into the skin via a tiny needle. The injection areas will be indistinguishable following the procedure.
BOTOX ® Cosmetic can diminish the appearance of creases between eyebrows, do away with persistent crow's feet by the eyes, and eliminate lipstick lines. The chemical that BOTOX® Cosmetic consists of relaxes the muscle activity, quickly and effectively smoothing away wrinkles.
Dr. Heffernan needs no more than a few minutes to complete the BOTOX® treatment at his Seattle office. Restylane® and Perlane®
Dr. Heffernan offers Restylane®, the latest advance in 21st-century wrinkle treatment, in his Seattle office. It's an excellent alternative to collagen, working on your deepest wrinkles. Restylane®, like BOTOX® Cosmetic, is gently inserted into fine lines and small wrinkles to smooth away these and other imperfections. Restylane® can also be injected into the lips for a non-surgical lip augmentation. The compound is biodegradable and is not made of animal proteins, so there is no waiting time between your first consultation and injection.
Perlane® is another dermal filler composed of non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid (NASHA) gel and is an excellent option for reducing the appearance of larger facial wrinkles and creases. The ReFirme™ Skin Tightening procedure stimulates long term collagen growth as well as tightening existing collagen fibers, which gives an immediate firmed or tightened appearance. Fine lines and superficial wrinkles appear smoothed out and softened as a result of the tissue tightening and contraction from bulk heating. Laser Hair Removal
Waxing, shaving, and many other methods of removing excess or unwanted hair are almost always time-consuming and painful. Laser hair removal does away with coarse stubble that can cause hair follicles to become inflamed, allowing for near-permanent results. While the laser hair removal treatment is usually done over the course of several visits, many patients can notice up to an 80 percent reduction in hair after their first treatment visit. Patients also typically achieve smoother, softer, healthier skin following the first treatment. Using a special laser, Dr. Heffernan can achieve optimal results in about five treatment appointments, each of which are set four to six weeks apart.

Microdermabrasion

The microdermabrasion treatment utilizes sterile, sand-like crystals to remove toxins, impurities, blemishes, imperfections, and dry, scaly skin. The procedure is relatively simple and has virtually no side effects. The treatment itself takes only about a half hour. Dr. Heffernan will use a hand piece that emits the sterile crystals onto the skin, using the crystals to buffer away dead cells. For ideal results, multiple treatment sessions are suggested two to three weeks apart.
